El Gordo Taqueria

Stopped in for a couple of breakfast tacos to go. The lady who took my order was super nice and had them make the tacos the way I wanted. Got me some Tabasco sauce so I could put it on my tacos before I left. I’ll be going back to try some other food. The tacos were perfect!

Always good food and great waiters/waitresses. Locally owned and always feels like you are a part of the El Gordo family when you eat there. Best Street Tacos ever. Additional edit: Been going here for years now. Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is always kind and service is quick. Prices have stayed steady and fair. Favorite breakfast place in town. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

My breakfast tacos were delicious. The flour tortillas were grilled to perfection and absolutely stuffed with my eggs, cheese, beans, potatoes, and chorizo. I loved their green sauce. It had just the right kick. I was just passing through, but I would definitely stop again if I’m ever in the area.

The street taco platter and quesadilla plate were delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Also highly recommend the Horchata!

We were really wanting tacos, so we thought we would give this place a try. The employees are so nice and the food was delicious. I had street tacos and my husband had tacos al carbon. We will definitely be back.

Ok let me start off with saying the ladies are so nice and very helpful I love them. They have the best Menudo in town hands down. There's no bones taking up the whole container and it's freshly cooked with natural flavors. The charro beans are great along with the tacos, and the whole menu. Their chicken soup is delicious too. Everything is great and I love my food every time. No complaints and I do recommend this restaurant.

We came for breakfast , I got migas and my husband got an homelet with chorizo, it was all delicious, I really liked that they serve everything in the menu all day. The salsas are good too and the restaurant was very clean.

My wife and I had lunch here on our way back home from Houston. We both really liked the queso. Their salsa is some of the best we have ever had. My wife ordered beef fajitas. She loved their homemade tortillas but the beef fajita meat could use some improvement. It was tough, dry, and lacked flavor. I ordered chicken fajita enchiladas, and loved them. They were loaded with flavor, especially after I topped them with their two homemade hot sauces. This place has a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in the area, and recommend anyone to go there.
